The town of Ozdere is located less than 50 Km from Izmir airport and 40 Km from Kusadasi in an area which is largely undeveloped and unspoilt.
With a backdrop of rugged mountains and a coastline that alternates between rocky, craggy cliffs and beautiful sheltered bays with sandy beaches Ozdere is generally favoured by holiday makers looking for a quieter more relaxed holiday.
There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the resort which also has a long shingle sand beach with a paved promenade.
The two excellent water parks close to Kusadasi and the ancient ruined city of Ephesus are less than a half hour away by bus.
There is also a frequent local bus service to Kusadasi itself which takes about 40 minutes.
Close to Ozdere lies Claros where the ruined Temple of Apollo dating back to the seventh century BC has been excavated along with a small temple thought to have been dedicated to Artemis.
